25+years building production software

I am Adam Zychma, a software engineer and technical lead with experience across banking, public services, media, cloud and logistics.

I work directly with teams to understand existing systems, make practical changes and connect new capabilities to real operations. AI supports the work; engineering judgment guides the decisions.

My background includes .NET, cloud platforms and web applications. The starting point for each engagement is your problem, your team and the system it needs to fit.

More delivery capacity. Less unexamined code

I have spent more than two decades changing systems across banking, public services, retail, media, regulated products and logistics. Codex is fast; production software is still made of constraints, dependencies and decisions.

I work where Codex meets an existing codebase: exploring modules, comparing options, building narrow changes, generating tests and investigating logs. Architecture, security and release decisions remain human.

The value is simple: less time reconstructing context and repeating mechanical work; more time deciding what is safe, useful and maintainable.

My positionAI changes the economics of implementation. It does not remove the economics of maintenance.

I have already watched programming reinvent itself several times

At Wroclaw University of Science and Technology I started with assembler. Pascal brought clarity, C++ architecture, Delphi visual delivery and Java enterprise scale. Then came .NET Framework, .NET Core and the modern .NET platform I use today.

AI-assisted programming is the next shift. It shortens the distance from idea to software, but a new interface does not end the need for engineering.

Experience from environments where software has to keep working after the deadline

Media, cloud, regulated systems, finance and enterprise technology. Different sectors; the same need for operable change.
